Terms of Service
The contract for using Finalit. We've kept it short and readable, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
Last updated 20 July 2026. Draft, pending legal review.
Who we are
Finalit is an AI writing assessment and improvement tool operated by Wadalyon Ltd (“Finalit”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16734023, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. These terms are a contract between you and Wadalyon Ltd. By creating an account or using Finalit, you agree to them.
What Finalit does
You submit a draft; Finalit assesses it, tells you what’s wrong and what to improve, and helps you improve it. Assessments are guidance, not guarantees. A verdict reflects how your draft reads against a standard. It is not a prediction. We don’t promise any particular outcome (a job, an admission, an investment) from using Finalit, and you remain responsible for what you send.
Your account
You need a Finalit account, created with Google sign-in or an email magic link. You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, and able to form a binding contract.
Your content
You keep all rights to the drafts you submit and the improved versions you produce. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service to you: to run an assessment, produce a rewrite, and store your work so you can come back to it. We do not train AI models on your content, and we do not sell it. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
Plans and payment
Finalit offers a Free plan and paid plans. Current prices are shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed through our payment processor; prices are in GBP and may exclude VAT where applicable. We may change prices with notice, and changes never affect a period you have already paid for.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings, and access continues to the end of the period you’ve paid for. Because Finalit is a digital service you access immediately, by subscribing you ask us to start straight away and acknowledge that you lose the standard 14-day cancellation right once access begins. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Acceptable use
You agree to our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break it.
Availability
We work to keep Finalit available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change, add or discontinue features. Finalit depends on third-party AI providers, and their availability affects ours.
Liability
To the extent the law allows the following apply.
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost opportunities, business or reputation arising from work you sent after using Finalit;
- our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you directly. Continuing to use Finalit after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your home country.
