Finalit Campus: your application
What happens to the details you give us when you apply to the Finalit Campus founding cohort.

Who we are
Wadalyon Ltd (company number 16734023), which operates Finalit, is the data controller for your application. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: hello@finalit.ai.
What we collect
- Your name, email address, university and course.
- Which describes you: student, course rep or society organiser, or lecturer.
- Your answer about the course Lens you would build, and your LinkedIn profile link if you gave one.
- Whether you ticked the box for product updates.
- A one-way scrambled fingerprint of your connection, used only to stop the form being flooded. We never store your IP address itself.
Why we use it
- To review your application and contact you about Finalit Campus. You asked to join, so we use your details to consider that and reply (lawful basis: taking steps at your request, and our legitimate interest in running the programme).
- Product updates, only if you ticked the box. Occasional Finalit news (lawful basis: your consent). Untick it any time by emailing us, and it never affects your application.
We never sell your details or use them for anything else.
Who handles it
Your application is stored with Supabase and the site is hosted by Vercel, both acting on our instructions. The full list is in our subprocessors.
The cohort group chat
If you are accepted, we may invite you to a private WhatsApp group. Joining is optional and up to you. In a WhatsApp group, other members can see your phone number, and WhatsApp handles that data under its own privacy policy. If you would rather not join, email works just as well.
How long we keep it
We delete applications within 12 months of the founding cohort ending, or sooner if you ask. If you ticked the box for product updates, we keep your email for that until you tell us to stop.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to how we use them, by emailing hello@finalit.ai. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). Our main Privacy Policy covers everything else.
